Buying a Lada? Compare dealer prices, discounts and financing costs

A Lada’s recommended retail price does not always match the final price paid. When comparing AvtoVAZ’s price list with a dealer’s offer, use the same model and trim level, accounting separately for additional equipment and discount conditions.

Ask an authorised dealer to quote the price of a specific car in stock and list any equipment included in the offer beyond the chosen trim level. Find out how much the car costs without those extras. Check that the promotion will still be valid on the date you plan to make the purchase.

A direct discount, a financing discount and a trade-in offer requiring an additional payment have different conditions and cannot always be combined. Ask the dealer to itemise them in the calculation and specify which conditions you must meet for each discount. If you are trading in your old car, ask for its valuation and the additional amount payable for the new Lada as separate figures.

If buying on finance, ask for the full cost of the loan, the deposit required and the total amount you will have to pay, including payments to the bank. Compare this calculation with buying without financing, rather than looking only at the promised discount. Choose an offer based on the total cost of the same car, and check that the agreed terms are included in the contract before signing.
