Leapmotor readies B03 for sale in 2027 and supplies Stellantis with technology

«Липмотор» готовит Б03 к продажам в 2027 году и помогает «Стеллантису» с технологиями

The Leapmotor B03 electric car is due to go on sale early next year, with an expected price of just over £20,000. The model is rated at 194 hp, with a range of 242 miles and a charging power of 133 kW.

Leapmotor was part of Stellantis’s shared display in Hall 4 of the exhibition centre at Porte de Versailles in Paris. The group’s stand featured a Citroën 2CV concept and concept cars from Alfa Romeo, DS and Fiat. A Peugeot RCZ was also among the concepts shown at the motor show. Stellantis owns a 51% stake in Leapmotor’s international sales business.

Europe was the only region where Stellantis’s sales rose in the third quarter of 2026, increasing by 10%. Sales of the Opel/Vauxhall Corsa, Mokka, Peugeot 2008 and Alfa Romeo Junior declined, however.

Leapmotor is to provide the technology for the E-Car platform. The Citroën 2CV and other electric cars are planned to be built on it from 2028.

In Spain, Leapmotor is helping Stellantis make use of factory capacity that is not fully utilised. The company is also providing a platform for a Vauxhall off-road vehicle.
